We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to start February/March 2025 for assistance with workload overflow for clients on a variety of printed products including, but not limited to, promotional signage, building signage, packaging labels, print ads, mailers, swag and more.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Intern will update existing files to reflect revision requests made by clients

  • Intern will adapt existing designs for use with new products following similar branding guidelines.

  • Intern will create print layouts from scratch for signs, packaging labels, flyers, etc.

  • Intern will send proofs as needed

  • Intern will prepare files for print as-needed.

  • Intern will assist as-needed with content creation (graphics and/or copy) for designer to use in self promotion (social media, emails, etc)

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and InDesign (some Photoshop experience is helpful)

  • Proficiency with setup and use of online storage systems like OneDrive

  • Experience designing for print in vector-based programs

  • Strong layout and typography skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and balance multiple projects

  • Ability to work independently using web-based project management tools like Trello or ClickUp

  • Ability to clearly and consistently communicate with management on project status

Requirements:

  • Intern must be able to work remotely via Microsoft platform using live files in OneDrive

    • Project manager is willing to set up co-working hours at a public site for in-person onboarding and training

  • Intern must have their own access to and license for the Adobe Creative Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)

  • Availability to start training in February or March 2025

  • Applicants must be available during regular office hours (M-F, 8 am – 5 pm, but not entire block for communication regarding jobs with project manager as needed

  • Estimated hours per week: 10-15

  • This role has the potential to continue into other semesters for internship credit or continue as a paid subcontractor position
